Overview
Paul is a co-founder of Puritas and leads the company’s technical strategy, bringing decades of experience designing and delivering complex software for regulated industries.
He began his career as an electronic engineer within the UK defence sector before specialising in software engineering and systems development. After completing postgraduate studies in Information Technology, he spent 17 years developing mission-critical defence systems, where reliability, security and precision were fundamental. In 1997, he moved into financial services, specialising in software development for fund administrators and other regulated financial services firms.
Paul’s combination of engineering expertise, software development experience and deep understanding of financial services has shaped the Puritas platform from the outset. Today, he continues to lead the technical direction of the business, ensuring the platform evolves alongside changing regulatory requirements while remaining robust, scalable and built around the operational realities of fund administrators, compliance teams and other regulated financial services firms.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys cycling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
