Overview
Oly joined Puritas in May 2009 and is a key member of the development team, working at a senior level on the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of the company’s software solutions.
He was educated at De La Salle College in Jersey before studying Computer Science at the University of Sussex, graduating with first-class honours in 2008. His degree provided a strong foundation in software engineering and the practical challenges involved in delivering complex systems.
He demonstrates a keen commitment to continuous learning both professionally and personally, ensuring his information technology knowledge remains at the forefront of technological advancement.
Oly has also worked as a full-stack developer across a number of projects. By working closely with clients and stakeholders, he has developed a strong understanding of how to translate complex business requirements into practical, effective technical solutions.
Oly also plays a significant role in the development and management of the Puritas investor portal, contributing to its architecture, functionality and technical direction. This includes designing, provisioning and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, using infrastructure as code, version control, and collaborative DevOps practices to support secure and scalable cloud deployments.
He combines strong technical delivery with practical problem-solving and commercial awareness, building reliable and maintainable solutions for fund administration and RegTech clients across the Channel Islands and other international and offshore jurisdictions.
Outside work, Oly enjoys cycling, running, and going to the gym – mostly to justify his enthusiasm for good food. He also enjoys travelling and discovering new places with his partner and their dog, Wolfgang.
