Alan Duffy

Overview

Alan brings extensive financial services experience and insightful understanding to both Puritas and its clients. His career began at Barclays International Managed Funds Limited, where he built a wide portfolio of knowledge and developed competence through engagements with leading banks and financial services providers. This foundation positioned him well to join Puritas in 2019, where he continues to advance his expertise in fund administration and RegTech. 

At Puritas, Alan focuses on supporting colleagues and clients in developing key applications, business functions and operational efficiencies. His experience spans multiple fund classes across fund administration and accounting functions, including NAV production. His expertise encompasses OEICs, hedge funds, private equity, real estate and Sharia-compliant funds, making him a valued resource for clients navigating complex fund administration requirements. 

Beyond his professional commitments, Alan enjoys both watching and playing football, and maintains a strong commitment to fitness. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo and trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts, demonstrating the discipline and focus he brings to his professional work.
