Overview
Andy joined Puritas in February 2014 as a Technical Consultant and brings significant software development experience to the team. His interest in technology began in childhood during the 1980s home computer revolution, exploring early 8-bit microcomputers from his Sinclair ZX80 through extensive coding sessions with a ZX Spectrum.
This early passion matured into structured professional expertise. Andy spent many years at Finalysys Limited building his programming skills and gaining valuable experience with operating systems, databases, SQL, object-oriented .Net development and various reporting tools. He subsequently worked with Ocean Technology before joining Puritas, where he has applied his skills within the financial services sector.
Andy’s approach to software development centres on delivering successful solutions and effecting positive change. His technical foundation, combined with his experience across multiple technology platforms, enables him to contribute effectively to Puritas’s fund administration, client data and RegTech solutions for regulated financial services firms. He is at his happiest when solving complex technical challenges and seeing those solutions deliver measurable benefit to clients in the Channel Islands and beyond.
