Overview
Jaz joined Puritas in November 2007 as a Senior Technical Consultant and leads development initiatives for the company. His finance technology expertise stems from over seven years at Barclays, where he began his career in the funds industry before transitioning to information technology, where his passion truly lay.
At Barclays, Jaz worked closely with senior technical leaders, assisting in the development of key applications and driving business support and operational efficiency improvements. He continued to excel within Barclays’ IT division until 2007, building a comprehensive understanding of both fund administration operations and technology solutions.
Jaz studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Information Technology in his native Manchester before relocating to Jersey in 1999 for what was intended as a summer vacation. He has remained in Jersey ever since, becoming an integral part of Puritas’s development function. His combination of funds industry knowledge and hands-on technical expertise enables him to bridge the gap between client requirements and software delivery, ensuring solutions address real operational challenges. Outside of work, Jaz enjoys playing a lot of golf, watching his favorite football team Manchester United and spending time with the family.
