James joined Puritas in May 2017 as a Developer. James is an intellectual guy keen to get involved in both the development and business side of Puritas Ltd. He received the Queen’s medal for mathematics and the de lancy award for achieving the highest A-levels at Victoria College before heading off to Imperial College London, where he graduated with a masters in Chemical Engineering.

Whilst at university he focused on numerical optimisation of dynamical systems and researched, then modelled bubble dynamics in a viscoelastic solution. There’s no doubt that James is very technically minded and capable of developing software solutions, aiding us to continually react to changing legislation and client requests.

James worked as a risk analyst at BlueCrest, a capital asset management firm, for a year prior to joining us in June 2017. There he engulfed himself in the markets whilst developing excel solutions to simplify his daily tasks.
